Mastectomy Friendly Shirts for You to Look and Feel Your Best!

If you have been following me for a while, you know that I had a prophylactic mastectomy two years ago.  While I was sharing some awesome sale finds today, one of my lovely readers asked me to recommend some tops for women who have had mastectomies. What a great idea! I must admit, I feel terribly that I haven't done this already!  By reading beyond this point, you are agreeing to my updated privacy policy, found here, and my use of commission based links.

You can read more about my mastectomy journey here.

Shopping for clothing post-mastectomy is a whole new world.  Some women prefer to never have reconstruction and some have implants.  Others have a vascular/flap procedure.  Whatever the journey, we all want to look our best, and shopping is tricky.

I'm sharing some of my top Mastectomy friendly picks, so that you can look and feel your best.

On all of my mastectomy posts, I linked the items that I used for comfort.  The first thing I needed was a good bra.  I needed to use inserts for awhile, and this is what I recommend.  Bra. Inserts.

The other thing that I recommend early after surgery are button-down shirts.  You won't want to raise your arms for a bit, so you need to get things off and on easily.

Finally don't be afraid of color and texture.  Be vibrant! Be you! Don't hide in black - unless that's your thing!  People will see your light shining from the inside, so do you baby!  At the bottom of this post I link even more things that I love.
