Amazing summer so far...our visit to the Summer of Heroes at Disney's California Adventure..

Well, I did it again.  We traveled to California with three kids.  The airlines wouldn't let us bring our double stroller to the gate (and I refuse to check it), so we didn't have it for Disneyland.  Never AGAIN.  We had two umbrella strollers, and it was challenging to deal with them both.  to surmise...the trip was so much fun, I saw most of my favorite people, and the jet lag coming home is a killer.

The airlines are driving me nuts with the  stroller restrictions.  What are you supposed to do with multiples?   How do you get to the gate?!  My GOGOBabyZ travelmate is pretty great to get the carseat onto the plane, and around the airport, but it won't work for tooling around town.  Sorry about the video quality, but I wanted you to see how easy it was.

Our travel plan when we go to California, is to head straight to Disneyland.  I know it sounds crazy, but it's a really fun way to just get the jet lag over and done with.  This will be the third year we have done it, and I highly recommend it.  Or I just might be cray.

The very FIRST thing that we did was head to Disney's California Adventure, because I was super psyched to see the Summer of Heroes.  Have you heard about it?  They recently renovated the Tower of Terror and turned it into a Guardians of the Galaxy ride (BTW two thumbs up from my two oldest kids and the hubby, they said it was better than the tower).  They turned a huge section of the park by it, into everything superhero, even the food.  Did I mention that California Adventure allows adult beverages?  This makes it my favorite by default...

You can meet and greet all of your favorites, Iron Man, Captain America, my son's personal favorite Spider Man, and the Black Widow rides in on a Humvee.  Its pretty cool.  They also have a super cute show (like the Jedi Knights show for kids) where the kids interact with Hawkeye, and Black Widow.  They are learning how to be...true superheroes.  Its adorable.

They are also offering free face painting, and of course my girls were super into it.  Not my son, he has some texture sensitivities that make it unpleasant for him.

Make sure to check out the Summer of Heroes event before it ends on September 10!
