As someone who loves filtered water from the fridge, I was disappointed with the heavy metals, and toxic chemicals in our tap water when we moved to California. It is very hard, and I do not like the taste. My initial fix for this was to buy a five gallons of bottled water. The bottle wasn't a great long term solution because we just don't have a perfect place to store it.
