Get ready for Prime Day: Tips to save $ and not miss a deal!

This post contains affiliate links, and here is a link to my updated privacy policy.  In addition to all of the good deals that they always have on Prime Day, Amazon is giving up some amazing lead up deals.  Call it bonus Prime Day!  This is the time to buy those higher ticket items you have been wanting, or stock up for the holidays!  Read for more tips to make the most of Prime Day.
They are also giving up some great tips to get ready for the day!
You can always delay your delivery (if you get it via USPS, so as not to delay mail in voting). 

1.  Become a Prime Member.  

If you aren't, you can start a FREE 30 day trial.

2. Download the Amazon App.

It just makes finding the deals easier.

3. Mark the calendar.  Prime day starts at midnight on June 21, 2020 and runs for 48 hours.

Be there or be square.

a. Sneak Peek select deals, by adding items to your list, and then turn on your personalized notifications.  Here's how...

To get notified when sneak peek deals start, make sure that you have your Amazon App notification turned on.

Tap the top left menu icon to open the app menu, then tap "Settings", then "Notifications", and enable "Personalized Notifications".

b.  On the day of, shop anywhere.

You can shop on the app, on Amazon.com, on Alexa (and they usually have Alexa only deals), or at Whole Foods.  That is AMAZING.

c.  Get notified when things that you are looking for go live!

If you have added them to your list, you will get notified BEFORE they go on sale.  Go ahead and add that instant pot to your list.  Granny will thank you!

One of the benefits of prime, is the prime household.  You can have two adults, four teens, and four children sharing the fun!  What does that mean?  Music, videos, TV and more.  We love the music, because we are able to set the parental controls (and get rid of explicit language).  We also set chore charts, and other fun things.
