There are some fun activities headed my way! I hope you follow along.

Hello everyone!  It has been awhile since I just caught up with you guys, and some days writing posts is just overwhelming.  There are some fun things coming up, and I hope that you will follow along! By reading beyond this point you are agreeing to my updated privacy policy found here, and my use of commission based links.

If you want to see what I am up to every day, head over to Instagram.

Next week I am going to Disneyland to cover a BRAND NEW PARADE.  In case you didn't know, I do a lot of freelance writing.  I love the blog, but it doesn't cover the bills.  That's why I am always so appreciative of when you guys buy through my links.  It doesn't cost you anything, but it does give me a small commission.

Belle and I leave next Thursday, very early, and fly into Santa Ana airport in Orange County California.  It is the closest airport to Disneyland, and they are picking us up and taking us to the hotel.  I'm not exactly sure which hotel they are putting us in, but I think it may be California Adventure.

The next two days will be full.  Disney has prepared an itinerary for us.  They have said we will have some free time, but it means that we will be escorted from whatever they want us to see/cover, to the next thing, and on, and on.  Fun!  But work for sure.

I asked for an extra day at the end of the trip, so that I can visit my grandmother.  She is almost 95, and lives in LA.  It is super nice to have this quick trip, so that I can see her.  I'm also planning on seeing some more of my family (hello sister girl), but sadly it's just too quick to see everyone.

DUDE.  Have I mentioned how ecstatic I am to be out of the frigid arctic tundra of Maryland for a few days?  Well, now I have.  Clearly stalking the weather apps for LA right now, and loving it.

When we come back in March, my mother in love will be here!  I am super lucky with mine, as she is super fun to be around.  She putters around, does her own thing, and is just so awesome to hang out with.  Having no family nearby, it really makes me grateful for the extra hands.

Then my aunt is coming to visit from LA at the end of March.  Insert all of the super excited emoji!  The winter doldrums and I don't really get along, so having something to look forward to is just fab.

In May  I am headed back to LA.  Yes, my coast to coast flying is slightly excessive recently.  I have a conference in Downtown for a few days.  I again am staying an extra day so that I can see my family.  It's the same one I went to Austin, and Pasadena for in the last couple of years. Hello Taye Diggs, and Kristen Bell.  You can read more about that here.

That's all, and it's a lot. Along with the normal kid/parenting routines, we are all busy.  What are you up to, any big summer plans?
