Mad Hatters Tea Party DIY with Disney Kids!

*this post contains sponsored, and affiliate links that help keep my fridge stocked.

We recently hosted a playdate at Playdate Junction, sponsored by Disney Kids.  It was gorgeous, and so much fun for everyone.  One of the best parts of the party was the beautiful decor by Josephine (Posh and Glitz).  We really wanted to show everyone that you can make a beautiful DIY party, for adults or kids!

1. Chair Covers

Similar fabric is available at Walmart for a reasonable price (LINK?).  Simply measure the chair backs, and follow these NO SEWING REQUIRED (!!!) directions.  They turned out SO CUTE!

2. Teapots, Cups, and Saucers

I purchased all of them (except for the bunny rabbit teapot which came from Homegoods) from Goodwill.  Most thrift stores are full of unique china pieces. Because we didn't want them to match, it was perfect.

3. Tablecloth

Any fabric store will have what you are looking for.  Or, if you want to make it super easy, you can order it from Amazon.

4. Alice in Wonderland Character Props

Etsy is your friend.  We ordered the props that you see here from this shop.

5. More Etsy love!

I just love some crafty mamas.  We used the directional arrows from this shop, and I think that they were so cute.  Of course you can recreate your own, using cardstock, or I particularly love this one.

6. Table Setting

Want to know my biggest secret...again?  Goodwill.  That and the dollar store provided all the glassware that was missing from our table-scape.  Isn't that awesome?!

7. Turf Table Runner

Add this to the list of things that I would have never have thought of, the turf table runner.  Josephine found the one that we used at Party City. I found a similar one on Amazon

The bottom line is, you can find most of this stuff in your average craft store.  If you are lucky enough to have a Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or a fabric and craft store near you, you will be amazed at the Wonderland you can create!
