Cars 3: The Best Movie of the Summer!

Cars 3, review, family, kids

I may be a tad bit excited, because the summer hasn't even started yet, but our WHOLE family loved Cars 3.  We were lucky enough to be invited to a special preview of Cars 3 last night, and I have to tell you...it had been a day.  One of those days where the kids fought nonstop, and the idea of taking them to a movie after bedtime was not appealing.

I am so glad that we went!  Cars 3 hit all of the high points for me.  We laughed, saw some of our favorite characters from the previous Cars movies, and we learned a few lessons along the way.

Owen Wilson is back as Lightning McQueen, and he is being challenged by a new generation of race cars.  There is a new foe in Jackson Storm, and he needs the help of a new trainer, Cruz Ramirez, to get back to the top of his game.

At several places in the movie, I had to remind myself that this wasn't photography, this is animation!  It was unreal how lifelike it was.  The Pixar folks are so talented!  If you haven't been to Disneyland, and you have a Cars fan in your life-you should go.  At California Adventure, they have a Cars land that looks JUST LIKE RADIATOR SPRINGS!

Lightning, and his friends are up to their standard hijinks.  When I say that there is a Demolition
Derby that had the whole audience laughing, I am not exaggerating.

One of the best parts about bringing my kids to movies that I am reviewing, is watching their reactions.  I love watching when they laugh at certain parts of the movie that to adults, may not be funny.  If my kids are any indication of the success of this movie, it will be a blockbuster!

I can't wait to hear your reactions to Cars 3!  It is in theaters on June 16, 2017.
