I have a love affair with Livie and Luca. I have adored their shoes since the Honeybadger was a tiny bedink of a girl. I love the whimsical patterns and fun colors.
When R3 was old enough I got him hooked on the Elephants. Those adorable shoes do, in fact look like elephants. He is finally starting to say some words, and you can be darn sure the words Elephant Shoes are in his vocabulary.
The Honeybadger has always been a sparkle addict. Always. She would rather wear sparkles or nothing at all. I discovered Livie and Luca when she was one and the addiction began. She would ask for her bird shoes (Pio Pios) and I literally bought the very same ones year after year. Summers were for her gold Celestinas and nothing else would do.

There is another reason that I love Livie and Luca. Have you heard about their changing the face of beauty campaign? They are using differently abled models to truly change the face of beauty. We have struggled with R3 having a developmental delay. Combined with ith my background working with infants and toddlers with special needs, I truly see beauty in all of these amazing little faces!
I am now so excited to introduce Belle to them! My lovely friend Maggie gave Lily her first pair of pink elephants when she was born, and when we received our box in the mail, I could hardly wait to have her wear them all. At once. Ok...I'm slightly obsessed.
