Get ready for Prime Day: Tips to save $ and not miss a deal!

This post contains affiliate links, and here is a link to my updated privacy policy.  In addition to all of the good deals that they always have on Prime Day, Amazon is giving up some amazing lead up deals.  Call it bonus Prime Day!  Read for more tips to make the most of Prime Day.
They are also giving up some great tips to get ready for the day!

1.  Become a Prime Member.  

If you aren't, you can start a FREE 30 day trial.

2. Download the Amazon App.

3. Mark the calendar.  Prime day starts July 16 at 3 EST.

Be there or be square.

 They also gave us some tips to help you shop like a pro...

a. Sneak Peek select deals, by adding items to your list, and then turn on your personalized notifications.  Here's how...

To get notified when sneak peek deals start, make sure that you have your Amazon App notification turned on.

Tap the top left menu icon to open the app menu, then tap "Settings", then "Notifications", and enable "Personalized Notifications".

b.  On the day of, shop anywhere.

You can shop on the app, on, on Alexa (and they usually have Alexa only deals), or at Whole Foods.  That is AMAZING.

c.  Get notified when things that you are looking for go live!

Last year the big sellers were the Instant Pot, and the 23 and me DNA test.  We actually got that one, and it was really fun.

Here are some of the deals that they are advertising to lead up to Prime Day.  Hint, Grandma is getting one.

They are also doing some great deals on Freetime (40% off for Prime Members), Audible, and Grocery/Pantry things.  You should really check it out if you haven't already!
