Simple, and Funny, DIY Back to School Wreath

I bought this adorable wreath for back to school, and I wanted to show you a little DIY hack I did.  It was super easy with the right tools, and took about 10 minutes.  Who am I kidding, it took about 5 minutes.  Take it from me, as much as I want to be crafty, I AM NOT.  I try so hard, and usually fail.  That said, if I can do this...so can you!

Here is how to make this simple DIY Back to School Wreath.

Easy DIY Wreath
I found the wooden sign on Etsy and it made me laugh, I needed it.

So the first thing I did was buy this wreath.

I bought it in white, but black is an option.  Also, supporting Etsy shops is one of my favorite things.

Then I bought this cheap wreath on Amazon.

You will need these supplies:

1. The door hanger from Etsy
2. the wreath from Amazon
3. hot glue gun
4. Sharp scissors (I used wire cutters)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your glue gun

2. Pull out all of the leaves from the center of the wreath, and put them to the side.

Wreath with the middle pulled out and nubbins cut off.

3. Cut off the nubbins that are left with your scissors or wire cutters. You can see what it looks like when its done above.

4.  Put the glue on four sides of the greenery wreath.  (After trial and error, it works best there than on the wooden sign.)

5.  Allow it to dry.

6.  That's it!  Super easy!
