Alice in Wonderland Party with Disney Kids

Disney, Tea party, kids

The first thing that I want to say about our Alice in Wonderland party sponsored by #DisneyKids is that I had the BEST team.  Josephine from Posh and Glitz, has an incredible vision, and eye for detail.  You can see from her website, that she has done some amazing events.  Portia, from Play Date Junction, is a details dynamo.  She has created such a fun space for kids, kids with sensory needs, and nursing moms.  If you live in the Howard County Maryland area, you must check it out!  Finally Daniel, our photographer, brought an editorial eye to the project. As you all know, photographing children (LOOK AT THE CAMERA!!!) can be a daunting task, but Daniel made it look easy!

Welcome to our Wonderland!
I was so excited to have been chosen by Disney Parks to host a playdate sponsored by #DisneyKids.  I think it's safe to say that the kids had a blast at Play Date Junction

Play Date Junction was the best choice for fun!
We decided on a Mad Hatter's Tea Party because it is a whimsical, gender-neutral theme.  Josephine put her amazingly creative mind to put together details, and I never could have imagined her vision.  I think it would be really fun to integrate that theme into an adult party...can you imagine how fun?!  I have a bridal shower to throw soon, and I may be borrowing this idea!

The party was late morning, and with a tea party theme, I decided to keep it simple.  Breakfast pastries, fruit, and lemon water rounded out the menu.  Costco's selection of frozen treats had enough quantity (these kids can EAT!) and vibrant colors to satisfy our tea party guests.  Wegmans has mini-croissants and breakfast pastries that they make daily.  It made the food prep as simple as putting it on a plate, with style of course!

The place settings, you won't believe it.  Every piece of the china came from Goodwill or the Dollar Store.  I spent a small amount of money to buy all of our mismatched china.  I mean, the Mad Hatter's china didn't match, so this was perfect for us.

Most of the cups and saucers are from Goodwill!
And now for the fun!  Thank you to all of our guests, we really enjoyed having you. Check out some of our pictures from Wonderland!
