Friday Favorites...and empties I am buying again.

I have to go through my empties periodically and talk about the stuff that I love.  Some of my favorite things have changed, and some of my favorites remain the same.  I figured I would share them, since I get so many questions about the products we use!  By continuing to read you are agreeing to my updated privacy policy, and my use of commissioned links.

1. Water Filter

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I bought this zerowater pitcher.  It is about the size of a Brita, and fits easily in my fridge.  We had a mishap, and I needed to buy a new filter, but I am loving it.  I can taste the difference in our water, and it is a serious filter.  One day I want a berkey, but I don't have the counter space right now.

2. Trader Joe's Three Ingredient Lentil Salad

This is on repeat in my house, and is so crazy easy to make.  I didn't even know that there was an actual recipe (my aunt told me about it), but here ya go.  It's so good.  You throw the lentils, feta, and bruschetta together in a bowl.  Mix it all up, and you have a delicious, easy side or dinner.  I love it with crackers.

3. Instant Pot everything

Surprised?  You shouldn't be.  I used it this morning to make my famous (ok, not really but it is on the Instant Pot app) oatmeal, and I will use it again tonight to make rice for turkey taco salad.  Don't ask me for the recipe. I invent it all as I go, and sometimes it works.  When it does I will share it.  Hopefully the kids don't complain too much! Here is a link to the one that we have.    I also have the Lux, which is the same size, but doesn't have all of the features like yogurt making.  And we use them all! I secretly want to get the next one which is Bluetooth, but that would be silly.

4. My giant Yeti

In the summer, this thing gets used even more than it does in the winter.  It also makes the perfect teacher gift.  For teacher appreciation week, I had them done for three teachers, and plan to do two more for the end of the year preschool gift.  I used this Etsy shop, and they turned out perfectly!

5. A weird zit sucker, exfoliating thing

Clearly that is the technical name.  I haven't had zit success with it, but I do LOVE the exfoliating head.  I feel like my skin texture is so good afterward and it is quick.  Here is the link, and my super scientific approach was to find one with lots of good reviews.

6. Swimwear

This is a great time of year to get bathing suits from Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and all of those places.  You can find some super name brands for great prices!  I found this one

And this one on Amazon.  It is so hard to find a good coverage one piece that is actually cute...

And this one.  I feel confident that you wouldn't be fishing bathing suit parts out of your various orifices.  No one like that...HA!

And in case you need some sunscreen recommendations following the recent government study about the (un) safety of conventional sunscreen, here ya go!

flattering one piece swimsuits, mom bathing suits, mom bathing suits, modest bathing suits, zerowater, zerowater filter
