Recently I have been writing about my frustration with our house.  It just wasn't functional or as attractive as I want it to be. I still needed help!  I enlisted the services of a designer to whip it into shape! It's so hard to balance space for all of the little kid stuff, and keeping it stylish for the adults.

My friend Marilyn from Inside Haute came up with this amazing design plan.  The best part is that it is affordable!  Absolutely. She used a lot of what we have, and the new pieces she recommended were mindful of the fact that we have little kids.

As you fellow parents know, little kids can be super destructive even when they are using their "gentle hands."  I just can't bring myself to spend a ton of money on something that they will wipe sticky fingers all over - as they are saying "Yes, Mommy, I won't touch ANYTHING!"  Not to mention how HARD they are on everything.  That sippy cup will get slammed onto my new table over and over and over.  Hello dent, I've missed you.

Anywhoo, here it is!!!  I am so over the moon excited about it!  What do you think?

Did you see the curtains in the second picture?  I am already DIYing those bad boys, and I have to say, they look gorgeous!!

Xo,
Christy
