Back to the Grind

We are back home, and settling into our routine.   I am having a *tiny* problem adjusting to the weather changes.

It was so nice to see the kiddos smile and run and swim outside.  As hard as we try, there is no way to replicate that awesomeness when it's 40 degrees outside.

On a positive note, the Summer Infant Baby Zoom monitor did fabulously well traveling.   It was so small and easy to pack!  I look forward to taking it with us on our next adventure to Nebraska this summer!

This weekend,  the hubs and I are celebrating our tenth anniversary (belatedly).  It will be our FIRST NIGHT AWAY FROM THE KIDS.  I am doing a happy dance.  I know it's supposed to be romantic and everything but I want to SLEEP!

For our trip I tried a new suit by Athleta with mixed results.   I wanted something with more coverage,  so that I could chase the kids without a peep show.  I also wanted to look cute.  I am normally a bikini girl,  but I chose the tankini.  Love it!  On the days where I need more coverage,  it is perfect.   No tugging or discomfort and it stayed put.

The bottoms were meh.  They were cute, and hubby approved, but they really didn't stay put.  I don't want to constantly adjust my bottoms to avoid showing all of my business.   That was disappointing.  They did have another bottom that seems to stay better and I will keep you posted!
